The warm, herbaceous aroma of cedarwood essential oil is grounding and can help evoke feelings of wellness. Our favorite way to use it is to add a few drops to the rinse cycle when washing laundry to give your clothes a boost of added scent. Because the rinse cycle is the last cycle, the scent will linger a little longer. You can also add a few drops to your dryer ball!
We also love diffusing essential oils!
BLENDS WELL WITH:
Lemongrass blends well with many essential oils. Some of the most popular are Bergamot, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Jasmine, Lime, Lemon, Lavender and Neroli.
HOW TO USE IN THE RINSE CYCLE OF YOUR WASHING MACHINE:
Fill your liquid fabric softener dispenser with *white vinegar (read warning below.) Add 5-10 drops of Cedarwood Essential Oil to the vinegar. Vinegar is a natural softener and deodorizer; bonus!
HOW TO USE IN A DIFFUSER:
Use diffuser per manufacturers instructions and add 5-15 drops of essential oil(s) of your choice.
*WARNING - NEVER MIX VINEGAR WITH BLEACH! Doing so will create a highly toxic concoction of gasses.
Warning:
Pure essential oils are highly concentrated and should be handled with care. Dilute properly before use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. If you are pregnant or lactating, consult your healthcare provider before using any essential oils. For external use only. Keep in cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Highly flammable.
None of the statements above have been evaluated by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or illness. We make no claims about the benefits or dangers of essential oils. We suggest to use in a diffuser or add to your laundry.
